Summer in Sicily was a study abroad program run by UMass Dartmouth Professor Tony Miraglia. We lived in Messina off the coast of Reggio Calabria.

The experience was invaluable. Tony was forcing much needed color into my work. Mixed media art is liberating. All the artwork is comprised of materials found all around Sicily
